PhD Scholarship Opportunity in Europe ADVANCE CRT 2022/23

Applications are now open for the academic year 2022/2023! Advance is now recruiting fourth cohort of up to 30 talented and enthusiastic PhD students to start in September/October 2022 across our partner sites University College Cork, Munster Technological University, Maynooth University, Technological University Dublin and Trinity College Dublin. The SFI Centre for Research Training in Advanced Networks for Sustainable Societies focuses on enabling technologies for future hyper-networks, including concepts such as network virtualization, dependable communications, Internet of Things, data driven network management and applications in sustainable and independent living. This centre will train the next generation of researchers who will seek solutions to the technical and societal challenges of global hyper-connectivity. Funding Accepted PhD students will receive a stipend of €18,500 (tax free) and a tuition fee contribution of €5,500 per annum for up to 4 years. Additional funding is available to support equipment, materials, training, travel expenses and other costs associated with research. Government of Ireland has announced following Scholarship: The Higher Education Authority (HEA) is pleased to issue the 2022 Call under the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme. Under the initiative 60 scholarships will be provided for one year study at Bachelor, Masters or PhD levels to successful candidates who have an offer of a place at an eligible Irish higher education institution. The offer is open to students from non-EU/EEA countries and is applicable to all fields of study.
